Comfort Today, the new adult services and spa facility that opened in March, 2007, offers senior adults who live at home or with relatives a new opportunity to "get out of the house for a while" to relax, socialize, engage in activity, and just be pampered.  Like Memory Garden, Comfort Today can safely accommodate individuals having memory impairment.  Located directly across the street from Memory Garden, the Comfort Today ("come for today") facility is a newly constructed building that combines luxury in its furnishings and appointments, with well-planned programs and services.  "Comfort Today is the latest in a series of innovations in care for the elderly we've brought to the Jamestown region," says owner Nick Ferreri.  "We believe Comfort Today will fill a growing need for area residents and their families who would benefit from a daytime-only service."   A hallmark of Tanglewood Manor and Memory Garden facilities is activity-based programming, and that approach continues in Comfort Today.

Planned activities include art and music, pet therapy and exercise.  A physical therapist from Tanglewood Manor will lead appropriate exercise activity to help keep our day clients as limber and fit as they can be.  Further, during the months of warm weather, we'll have additional opportunities for outdoor activity in our Louis Ferreri Memorial Park, to include nature walks, gardening, fishing, and special events.  Golf cart transportation is available for those who cannot walk distances.
